Clients from a wide cross section of trades and occupations have included sub-contract workers, sole proprietors and limited companies. Being a small practice allows us to know clients and helps understand their business and individual requirements.
Our accounting system aims to meet client needs for the UK Self-Assessement  system of taxation and to provide in advance for any balancing payment on the current year falling due. Tax and Class 4 NIC liabilities are adjusted with every transaction to give an up to date figure for the tax provision.  Overpayments will just reduce the provision.  The system is updated each year after the issue of the current years returns in May.  The provisions advised during the early part of each year are based on the previous years calculation.
The system will handle multiple self-employments, employments, and allow all other incomes, allowances etc to be input, thus meeting self-assessment needs for timely filing with HMRC.
